"When the sun rests, and the world is dark, and the great fires are lit, and the ale is poured into flagons, then it is time to sing sagas as the Dwarfs do. And the greatest saga is the saga of Sigmar, mightiest warrior. Hearken now, hear these words, and live in hope."

The Legend of Sigmar

It is the Age of Darkness – 122 IC (Imperial Calendar)

Galnur, son of Kehn and Elishia of the Rhein, follower of Sigmar of Kobolt and keeper of the flame of the Numinas...a man seeking relief from strife and captain of the guard in the Fifth Regiment. Forever seeking peace in a time of tumult.

Never before have the wars been so violent. Remembering the last battle from his past is all that Galnur can recall – short of his name and lineage. Awakened from difficulty, he finds himself in a serene place. Land warming sunrises and a plenitude of resources are countered with the wild animals and beings of the forest.

Eikthyr is here. A worthy foe. Galnur must prepare before that eventual encounter.

Lo, there do I see my father,
Lo, there do I see my mother,
And my sisters and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my ancestors
Back to the beginning,
Lo, they do call to me
They bid me take my place among them
In the halls of Valhalla
Where the brave may live forever...
